Scientific Workshop on Updates in Cancer Treatment Using Thermal Ablation Methods & Appreciation Ceremony for Vietnamese Teachers’ Day

On November 14, 2025, in Hanoi, the scientific workshop titled “Updates in Cancer Treatment Using Thermal Ablation Methods” was held with the participation of 220 delegates, including medical experts, physicians, lecturers, and representatives from healthcare-related enterprises.

 

The event was jointly organized by Hanoi Medical University, the Vietnamese Society of Interventional Radiology (VSIR), and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, with the aim of updating professional advances, strengthening academic exchange, and fostering connections between education, research, and clinical practice.

 

Within the framework of the workshop, representatives of participating medical institutions introduced advanced technological solutions in diagnostic imaging and interventional treatment, with a particular focus on thermal ablation methods in oncology. These solutions, presented through video materials and accompanying professional documentation, highlighted the orientation toward applying next-generation medical technologies to effectively support hospitals and medical professionals in Vietnam.

 

In parallel with the scientific activities, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), the Organizing Committee and partner units expressed their sincere appreciation to the teachers, lecturers, and physicians of Hanoi Medical University - individuals who play a vital role in community healthcare while continuously dedicating themselves to medical education and the development of high-quality healthcare human resources.

 

The Gala Dinner celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, organized by Hanoi Medical University in collaboration with the VSIR and the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, concluded in a warm and convivial atmosphere.

The VSIR sincerely thanks all participating organizations, experts, and delegates for their contributions and companionship, which helped make the event a meaningful scientific gathering rich in both professional and humanistic value.
